SBCC Students, Staff, and Faculty will come together on Friday, June 5th from 10am - 11:30am for this ally support and processing space! People of color and their allies are welcome. This space will be used to process and unpack feelings associated with the murder of George Floyd, the ongoing protests across the nation, and the anti-Black remarks made by leadership in the country. The group will be encouraged to discuss topics such as intersectional activism, coping skills, self care techniques, community building and ways to take action as an ally.
Facilitated by SBCC Personal Counselors Adrian M. Valadez, Adriana Sanchez, & Amanda Lopez
