Do you identify as a person of color? Interested in sharing and hearing about the experience of navigating higher education as students of color and/or first-generation college student? We invite you to build community, be part of meaningful conversations, and enjoy snacks.
The purpose of the group is to provide students who identify as students of color an informal weekly safe space to discuss topics related to their experience navigating higher education. The aim of the group is to foster students’ sense of belonging at SBCC and promote the psychological well-being of all students using a multicultural framework.
This group will be facilitated by SBCC Personal Counselor, Adriana Sánchez, M.A. Counseling Psychology.
